Rising Star winners

Well done to all the Rising Stars who took part in the competition on Saturday 12th November. the adjudicators were very impressed with all the entries and the audience were treated to a great nights entertainment, with everything from mime to song to poetry.The adjudicators nominated five acts for adjudicator’s awards. They were Adam Roche U12 playing the drums,Holly Kelly U12 Hip Hop, Ronan Cloney U12,solo singing, U12 Lara Conran solo singing, U12 Dance Group from Courtnacuddy HipHop. The U12 section was won by Aoife Kehoe solo singing, second Ellen O’ Gorman solo singing and third, Keelin McHugh solo music. The U18 section was won by Clíodhna Colclough music solo, second Katie Creane plying the harp and third the Nu Edge Dance group. Well done to all the prize winners and thank you to all those who supported the event. The U18 and U12 winning acts received €100 and €50 respectively. The runners up in each section received €30. The competition continues to go from strenght to strenght and some of this year’s yuong entrants are preparing for next year’s show already.
